Our business needs one that vibes with our goals. I've hired from inside the company and neither did the the work, leaving me thinking it would happen and when it didn't - what a mess of feeling behind the competition. We are in San Francisco and behind is not the path to success. I still need to hire and I've watched your hiring videos but the question of where to go remains. Fivvr, upwork, indeed are all not good in my opinion for finding a person skillful and able to talk about our co. Goals in social media.

man I remember a few years ago I was doing some freelance work for a big marketing agency and I was sitting with the manager, and we were just talking about comics and random things when he said "sometimes I learn new things from youtube it is crazy how much free knowledge is there" and then I said "yeah there is this Asian guy I don't know if you know him, he is a logo designer and he has a channel called the futur" and then he shouted "CHRIS DO" and leaned forward and high fived me.

I am always afraid of showing the nerdier side of me with fighting games, illustration, shows, manga, all these things because I noticed around me the majority in types of people that partook in this OUTwardly didn’t have great hygiene, smelled a lot, had bad social skills, emotional awareness and control was nonexistent, and were hyper obsessive over these IPs and mediums. I didn’t wanna associate with that image and identity because I also saw how people reacted to those types of people and sometimes me when I brought up an anime or game and they would scoff at it or joke “isn’t that a kids game wth?” But then I realized how many people show themselves as these better versions of themselves on the surface, but you get into a conversation with them and open them up a bit, and they’ll be geeking out about some show, anime, game the same as you. All these Henry Cavills all beefcakes and they’re obsessed with pokemon and dark souls and the latest anime. I realized at bars half of them don’t want to be there, but they’re just there because the group is there or to connect with the louder majority. Some do it because they think that’s what they’re “supposed” to do. So I say all this because I’ve realized how many people mask their true identities while laughing at others for doing the same things as them. Or have no understanding about the medium so they make judgements on it based on what they’ve heard on the news or other peers. So I’m excited and I think y’all should be as well to go with what you’re mind and body are really fascinated by. Acknowledge what the public perception is but break that mold by showing you can have an interest and be a different type of person. You can like anime and be a buff lad or lass, be an amazing chef, have a good paying job, and a good friend circle. You can be a nerd and thrive. Or whichever you wanna be right now.

This is such a great way to think about branding. It's easy to get caught up in the flashy visuals, forget about the feeling a brand evokes. This reminds me of how important it is to have clear brand guidelines to maintain that consistent feeling across all touchpoints. I have found that exploring different tools and templates can be incredibly helpful when you need to map out those ideas - and to create something that's easier on the eyes as well. Personally I have tried Creately's branding templates, and experimented with some guides from Canva. Look forward to checking out your podcast too!

8:24 somtimes we just have to check who is clinging on to us, analyse if they are useless to us and remove them from our life. Same goes for the quality of the client, it's just bad business if you don't keep doing this and collect fodder for a client base(ex:RUclips subscribers)
